Hi there, I’m Reanne 👋
I’m a writer, editor, and arts advocate based in Manhattan, New York City.
For over 10 years, I’ve helped leading performing arts organizations, nonprofits, dance studios, artists, and performers build their audiences, engage their communities, and market smarter.
As a copywriter, editor, and content creator/strategist for several internationally renowned arts institutions such as New York City Center, The Joyce Theater, and National Dance Institute, among others, I’ve launched successful content marketing strategies, strengthened editorial programs, transformed email newsletters, and developed social media marketing to make solid connections with various target audiences. And through it all, I’ve mastered the art of creating and maintaining a captive audience—whether all eyes are on a stage or page.
Having lived and worked in London, Dubai, Toronto, and New York, my multicultural experience has shaped me into a skilled storyteller with an excellent working knowledge of the international arts and culture landscape.
I’ve trained in classical ballet for over 20 years and have also worked as a dance instructor for half a decade—nurturing and inspiring young dancers to achieve their personal best in the understanding and appreciation of music and dance. Based on my experience, I was elected to serve as an international editorial member of Dance Gazette (a Royal Academy of Dance publication based in London, UK) to support the executive committee in shaping the creative vision, feature content, and marketing and membership framework for over 13,000 dance teachers and students worldwide.
When I’m not writing about the arts, you’ll find me devouring literary fiction, filling my passport with stamps, or going on at length about cats. In fact, I help my cat, Mr. ManCattan, blog about all his up-close and personal encounters with New Yorkers who stumble into his world as house guests, neighbors, and visitors.
